SBFM - Powder coating

Briefly

Powder coating is a technique used to paint and protect both ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

The process involves applying powder lacquers electrostatically, which polymerise at 200°C.

These powder particles are magnetically attracted to the surfaces to be painted because they are charged with static electricity, which allows every corner of the piece to be painted and produces a high-gloss plasticised finish.

This technology is the best response to current environmental requirements because the powders don’t contain any solvents.

Please note that our powder coating service is only available for products manufactured in our metalworking department. No other items are eligible for this option.
